*Copper Moon Coffee French Roast Review*
This is one of three different varieties from this brand label that I tasted. The other blends, Dark Moon and Sumatra were also delicious.
Out of the brewer, there was a noticeable aroma of freshness from the cup, and also very strong while it brewed. As one of three dark roast varieties, the French Roast exhibited a deep roasted scent which I met with anticipation for the first sip. The presentation score for this cup scores a 4 out of 5 possible points.
The taste satisfied my expectations for a typical French Roast. The flavors came to me in a familiar sense, with no surprises. Though it scores as the weakest of the three roasts, it still holds its own as a solid, average blend. The taste did not have a bitter taste, and the aftertaste was pleasant but it did not overtake my palate. This coffee scores a 3 out of 5 points for taste.
There is nothing wrong with an average score. I mark these with the expectation that the coffee has a solid profile that one can count on reliably with each cup. It makes a solid show, and I would recommend it as a go-to for a daily coffee habit. The coffee has an overall score of 3 out of 5 points.
