* Newman’s Own Dark Roast Organic Coffee Review *
The Newman’s Own Foundation is a philanthropic organization dedicated to various causes, and they fund it through businesses such as the Newman’s Own food product line.
This review of their kcup dark roast coffee isn’t being charitable at all however, as the quality of the product and its flavor practically sells itself.
Right out of the brewer, the roasted aroma really strikes me as the coffee drips to my mug. It’s deep, roasted, and edged with an almost burnt smell. The presentation scores a 5 out of 5 points.
The dark roast flavor is delicious. It has a bold flavor that lingers on the palate long after each sip. It’s the kind of coffee one could ruminate over in deep thought. The taste does not interrupt while the contemplation continues through my morning breakfast.
The most remarkable is that it steers clear of the typical, acidic, and bitter aftertaste typical from more thoughtlessly roasted dark blends. They definitely did not just crank up the roaster and walk away, there must have been a element of timing in how it all came together.
This did not fulfill a perfect score because I didn’t pick out much diversity in its flavors, but it scores well, a solid 4 out of 5 points in taste.
Overall, this one was a delight, and it even fulfills a sense of satisfaction knowing it also helps as a charitable organization. I suggest a score of a 5 out of 5 points overall for an excellent show during this review. I would definitely come back for seconds on this one.
