When brewing this one, I had to lean in really close to pique my olfactory senses. The aroma from this brew was weak, even for a French Roast. This kcup brew ranks 2 out of 5 possible points for presentation.
The taste was also weak, even for a French Roast. It tasted watered down as if the grounds did not take to release its flavors into the brew. Their “resistance” to the brewing process earns them a score of 1 out of 5 points for taste.
This coffee was one of the weaker brews, earning a ranking of 2 out of 5 points for the overall score. While the Harry & David branding has a reputation for reflecting festive sentiments and generosity, this brew would not bring joy to this coffee drinker had it appeared in a gift basket on my doorstep.
